Effective Communication

Best practices for communicating with your AI team in Mission Control. Learn about @mentions, context uploads, and course corrections.

The Mission Chat is where you lead your team. Effective communication ensures your agents deliver exactly what you need.

The Power of @Mentions

  • Direct Communication: Use @AgentName (e.g., @Sam) to address a specific specialist.
  • Team Guidance: Post messages without a mention to address the entire Task Force (the Coordinator will usually respond).
  • Offline Alerts: If you mention an agent that isn't currently running, the system will nudge you so you're not waiting for a response that won't come.

Providing Feedback (Course Correction)

Agents are highly adaptive. If a deliverable isn't quite right:

  1. Be Specific: Instead of "I don't like this," say "The login button should be centered and use the primary indigo color."
  2. Provide Context: Upload a screenshot or a reference file to clarify your requirements.
  3. Ask for Reasoning: If you're confused by an agent's decision, ask "Why did you choose this architecture?" They will explain their logic in plain language.
Tip: Think of your agents as talented junior-to-mid-level engineers. Clear requirements and constructive feedback will yield the best results.
